Business Trip to Prague

My first trip to Europe was for a weeklong training course in the beautiful city of Prague in the Czech Republic. I had a day before and after the training to wander around the streets and visit places like Old Town Square, the Charles Bridge, Mala Strana, and the Prague Castle.

  • The Charles Bridge is always busy with visitors and tourists. You can see the Prague castle off in the distance across the Vtlava River.

  • Located in Old Town square, this clock draws a huge number of tourists. I especially liked the gothic feel of the clock, including the little dancing skeleton just beside the clock.

  • Probably my most favorite photo from Prague. This is the library at the Klementinum. Photos are generally not allowed here, but the tour guide gave me a few minutes to setup my tripod and snap a few shots quickly.

The Klementinum is a historical complex of buildings, that at one time was the third largest Jesuit college in the world. This library remains largely untouched from hundreds of years ago and is a classic example of baroque architecture which started in the early 17th century.
